  1. I do use an import preset all the time to Remove Chromatic Aberration and to Enable Profile Corrections as I’m always forgetting these in the Develop Module!

    1. Great idea! Thanks for sharing it!

    2. Great idea, me too I always forget those two items!

  2. Ok, I’d like to add the remove CA and profile corrections to an import preset – how do I do this ?

    1. On any image, enable the options in the Develop Module (don’t make any other changes to the image). Then, on the left side of the Develop Module find the Presets Panel. Hit the “+” and create a new user preset for them. They should show up as an option in the Import Dialog afterward.

  3. Are you going to talk about what you put in to the metadata preset for all your images? I assume Copyright and website etc?….thanks!

    1. I think it’s in the Metadata Panel video.

  4. Hi if I set up a Metadata preset can I copy it from my computer to my laptop?
    Regards Sue North

    1. From what I can tell, it looks like you have to import an image that already has the preset info you want. Then, from the metadata panel in the library, you can drop the Preset drop box and select Edit Presets. This fill in the fields. From there, you can save it as a new preset. Kind of a hacky way to do it, but there doesn’t appear to be a direct way to export and import metadata presets.

  5. Steve,
Can I ask LR import only Raw files, not JPG files?
